Summary sources

Published summary reviewed October 25, 2026.

NCA reports 42 jumping and 24 standing horses, two Roman chariots, and four rows. The operator independently reports 66 horses and two Roman chariots. Decorative cherubs and goddesses are not riding animals.

Sources: NCA classic wood carousel census and operator context.

Census figures may describe an older configuration, not a current physical survey. Sections are unverified and are not inferred by dividing figure counts by rows. Existing wiki values are preserved when they differ from these published figures.

Layout research limits

Reviewed October 25, 2026. The National Register description identifies twelve stationary horses in the outside row and describes horses pulling the two Roman-style chariots. This is not treated as a verified total of every outside-ring position. The four-ring alignment and the chariots' exact columns and radial spans remain unresolved. The twelve-sided pavilion is building geometry, not evidence of twelve seating sections.

Source: National Register nomination, section 7. No chart is generated from building sides or from dividing total horses by rows.

The operator publishes fall 2026 weekend hours, with the season ending October 25.
